How to apply for r350 Grant 2023 july – Apply for r350 Grant Online Application; The Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD Grant) is administered in terms of section 32 of the Social Assistance Act, 2004 (Act No. 13 of 2004) and is implemented with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance. The Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD Grant) is meant for South African Citizens, Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Special Permit Holders who are between the ages of 18 and 60 years, who have insufficient means, who do not receive social grants on behalf of herself/ himself or who are not contributing to or eligible for UIF payment, and have no financial support from any other source.
Applicants or their proxy will need to confirm or provide the below information to enable SASSA to consider their application
- Confirmation that they have read and accepted the clauses in the Declaration and Consent Documents
- Personal Details
- Mobile Number (cell phone number)
- Employment Information and Lifestyle Sustainability Information
- Banking Information
How to apply for the SRD grant online
Step 01; Go to srd.sassa.gov.za
Step 02; Scroll to the ‘How do I apply for this SRD Grant’ section
Step 03; Click on the yellow bar which says ‘click here to apply online’
Step 04; Enter your mobile number
Step 05; Click “send sms”
Step 06; Then enter the one time pin that Sassa has sent to the number
Step 07; Continue the application process by filling in the steps required by Sassa
